Signing Up with US Global Mail – A Quick Guide
Estimated Duration: Roughly 5 minutes.
Recommendation: For a hassle-free transition of your mail, we recommend initiating the sign-up process at least two weeks before your planned move.
Step-by-Step Sign-Up Process:
- Choose Your Address: Choose an address.
- Pick Your Plan: Pick a plan- personal or business.
- Add Billing Details: Input your billing information and receive your permanent virtual mailbox address.
Complete Change of Address: Now that you have your virtual mailbox address, redirect your mail to your new address. This is how your mail will start arriving at your new virtual mailbox.
Onboarding Process:
- Add Names: Add people or company names to your account.
- Identity Verification: For compliance with USPS regulations, upload two valid IDs for each adult on the account.
- Form 1583 Notarization: You will receive a completed Form 1583 during sign-up. This form allows us to receive mail in your name and must be notarized per US postal regulations. You can set up an appointment and complete this during the process itself as notary appointments are available every 5 minutes.
Approval: Our team will verify and approve the ID’s as per USPS instructions. And you’ll be all set.
